I love Alex Tune!
Old Yellow Bricks - Arctic Monkeys
Originating in Sheffield, England, the Arctic Monkeys are the perfect example of British rock. They’re described as indie rock, but I prefer to think of them as a post punk revival. They always seem so explosive in their sound, extremely pissed off and ready to tell anyone to fuck off. It is extremely fitting music for when I am annoyed and just need something that has that kind of energy. Of course, not all of their songs are in this one vein take a listen to When the Sun Goes Down and you’ll hear a whole different side of Alex Turner’s, the lead singer, voice.Enjoy,

Thank you sweetie!
Vitamin String Quartet - Boy’s Don’t Cry (The Cure)
I’ve been listening to a lot of Vitamin String Quartet lately and while I say a lot I still haven’t even made a dent in their huge collection of over 200 tribute albums. The list of amazing band and pop acts that they’ve payed tribute to is astounding. I adore the Cure and their sound really lends itself to the violin. To be way too honest, the album that I happen to play the most is the Dashboard Confessional tribute because it takes me back to that phase of my life in music without the guilt of actually listening to it. If you’ve never checked out the Vitamin String Quartet but you are liking what you hear I highly recommend taking a look because I’m sure you’ll find some of your favorite albums and songs no matter how diverse your taste. You can even sample all of their albums via their website!
Happy Listening,
-Zach
